KISS Tip #2: If you're not a fan of protein powder, consider adding a couple spoonfuls of plain or vanilla Greek yogurt for a nice protein boost!
3 large or 5 medium strawberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 large banana, frozen
1/2 cup milk of choice (cow's, almond, soy, etc.)
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder, if desired
1 generous squeeze of lemon juice
1.) Place all ingredients into blender and blend on high until smooth and desired consistency is achieved.
2.) For added nutrition, consider adding 1-3 tsp of flax, chia or hemp seeds!
*Depending on moisture content of fruit (fresh vs frozen), additional milk may be needed. Start with 1/2 cup and increase from there- it's always easier to "thin" down a smoothie than it is to "thicken" up.*
